There are sailing trips. There are training sessions. And there are rare opportunities to truly push a large cruising yacht to its limits alongside one of the most experienced offshore sailors and instructors in the German-speaking world.
The second leg takes us from Inverness out into the North Sea and on to Bremerhaven.
Here, the training takes on an even stronger offshore focus: longer legs, watches, weather strategy, crew energy management, and the question of how to navigate a large yacht quickly yet conservatively and safely over an extended period of time.
